Join Faibs and Conservation Volunteers Australia to care for the Adelaide International Bird Sanctuary. We are cleaning up the Webb Beach sand dunes where we have recently planted. Its school holidays so bring the kids and enjoy this beautiful sanctuary while improving habitat. Morning tea provided.
Eastern Osprey and Raptors of Adelaide International Bird Sanctuary
Join us for this informative presentation by leading raptor expert, Ian Falkenberg. Ian has spent more than 45 years working to protect South Australia’s birds of prey, making significant contributions to the conservation of species such as ospreys, sea eagles and wedge-tailed eagles. His work has ranged from installing nesting platforms on the Yorke Peninsula to leading raptor research and recovery projects across the state. Ian’s dedication and passion for conservation are widely recognised.
